With the vast amount of technology around us it is becoming increasing difficult to learn everything needed for a project. Time is often against us as we try to not only make decisions on the right technology to use but how to use it efficiently. The core staff at the University of Michigan 3D Lab has an eclectic and deep knowledge base from which we draw upon when troubleshooting projects or developing ideas and concepts for clients. Whether it's 3D modeling and animation, motion capture, digital fabrication, or even advanced visualization, we consistently look for opportunities to share these skills and experiences with others so that they may benefit from them as well. As such, the UM3D Lab is a regular participant in the Enriching Scholarship series of events and offers workshops throughout the year on a variety of topics.
